OCR- GCSE Science
OCR has designed GCSE Science into three suites:
1. 21st Century Science Suite
2. Gateway Science Suite
3. Environmental and Land-based Science
21st Century Science Suite
The 21st century Science suite comprises a six-fold specification:
GCSE Science A is associated with imparting education stressing more on understanding and application. In contrast with other courses, this is designed to impart education on recent and contextual issues in the world of Science. Students can choose modules of study based on topics of their interest as well.
GCSE Additional Science A provides a firm and sound scientific learning experience and serves as an ideal platform to launch oneself into realms of higher education in Science.
GCSE Additional Applied Science A provides young minds with an opportunity to learn from scientific experience. A student undergoes practical experience in Science and thus gets to realize the role of practitioners of Science.
OCR's GCSE Physics, GCSE Chemistry and GCSE Biology units provide an opportunity to understand the scientific explanations and elements of applied Science.
