Frequently Asked Questions about SAT : -
What is SAT?
To pursue higher education in US colleges and universities, all the applicants have to take one or more standardized tests to get admission. These tests include the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test), GRE (Graduate Record Examination), ACT test, and GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test).
What are the versions of SAT?
There are dual versions of the SAT test.
The SAT I is the called the Reasoning Test and is designed to evaluate your mathematical and verbal skills. It consists mostly of multiple-choice questions.

The SAT II, on the other hand, contains 22 separate tests called Subject Tests. Each subject test covers a specific area such as world history, Spanish, or chemistry. These tests are designed to determine your level of knowledge in each area and your ability to apply that knowledge to answer questions.
When is the best time to take the SAT?
There is no particular best time to take the SAT, except when you are completely ready, and have done enough practice tests to confirm your ability. This usually happens during the second half of the junior year (11th grade) during the months of March, May, June, or the first half of senior year (12th grade), during the months of October, November, and December.
What is the format of the SAT?
The SAT is a three-hour and 45-minute test. Only three hours and twenty minutes of the test count toward your score- the experimental section is not scored. There are ten sections in the test.
